Women’s Day Retreat in Middle Tennessee

Join us for a free women’s day retreat held on the ranch, all are welcome! Experience a day focused on the heart of the Lord. We will spend devoted time with Him through prayer, worship, workshops, and scheduled quiet contemplative time on 90 acres of wild land. A dream and prayer born many years ago, this is the first women’s retreat held here at Lumen Ranch! We will be outside for the entire day, with a gathering tent, water and coffee, restrooms, and seating areas provided.

As this day invites us into the blessing of community, we encourage everyone to bring a favorite dish or snack to share for our group lunch! Whatever is feasible for you and feels like something you are excited to share.

We are opening up the ranch for free camping on the night of the 25th after the retreat - keep in mind, this is wild land :) We will provide a porta-potty and hose access to fill up water, but everything else is up to you to bring! Enjoy the raw beauty of the Tennessee countryside that the Lord has created so intricately, sleep under starlight, and wake up with birdsong and crickets.

Our ranch is located 25 minutes SOUTH of Columbia. There is spotty phone service in this area - WIFI will be provided for those who need to check in with family at home.

  • This retreat is FREE, an offering from us to you. If you would like to donate to help fund future retreats, there will be an opportunity to do so in person

  • Fill out the above form with an active email address, and we will send out the rest of the registration details and logistics to your inbox! We do ask that everyone please RSVP so we can have a proper headcount and plan accordingly. Thank you!

  • All are welcome. All that we ask is for you to come with an open heart, kindness and respect for others, and a sincere curiosity to learn more about God. The content of the retreat is based on the good news of Jesus Christ.

  • Nursing babies in arms are welcome; we ask that bigger kids stay home so that this time can be for you to focus on the workshops and quiet time with the Lord!

  • We have one guest cabin on our land available to rent with a queen bed. Otherwise, you are welcome to camp for free on the land! Additionally, there are nearby air bnb’s available. Staying in Columbia is recommended as there are a lot of fun cafes and things to do!

  • We will enjoy a group lunch together, and the ranch will provide a few hearty dishes and drinks. It will be potluck style, so please bring something to share with the group (it can be small and simple if you are coming from out of town). If you are camping overnight, please bring groceries or a premade meal for dinner. Otherwise, Columbia is 25 minutes away and has plenty of restaurants to enjoy!
